An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced, reliable and efficient individual with a solid background in management accounting to join our busy Wellington Studio in a part-time capacity for around 10 hours per week. This is a fixed-term role for 12 months, with the possibility of extension.
The part-time Accounts Administrator will provide high level accounting support to the Studio, and provide overview and assistance to our full-time Accounts and Payroll Administrator. Responsibilities include preparing information for our Company Accountants, preparing financial and statistical data on studio project finances and performance for the Studio Directors, undertaking complex fee reconciliations, ensuring our IRD obligations are met, and assisting with monthly invoicing.
The part-time Accounts Administrator needs to be extremely well-organised, able to work under pressure, have strong accuracy and analytical skills, and a high level of attention to detail. Previous intermediate to senior accounts experience with MYOB, time and billing software and proficient Excel skills are essential.
