The Studio Pacific Architecture and Design Scholarship

We’re pleased to announce the new Studio Pacific korahipi—scholarship of $10,000 to support a student in their first year of study at Te Herenga Waka—Victoria University of Wellington Faculty of Architecture and Design Innovation.

As part of our commitment to encourage diversity and inclusion within our Architecture Industry, especially those beginning their studies or those hesitating because of financial insecurities, Studio Pacific has established a korahipi—scholarship to support our next generation of design professionals.

This scholarship is open to students currently enrolled or intending to enrol in a full time first year course in the Te Herenga Waka—Victoria University of Wellington Faculty of Architecture and Design Innovation.

 

We're looking for an individual who has the potential to succeed in a design discipline as demonstrated by their academic record and the portfolio submitted as part of the applicant’s enrolment. Applicants will be assessed on the basis of financial need as an additional consideration and Māori and Pasifika applicants are strongly encouraged to apply.

 

The Studio Pacific Architecture and Design Scholarship will reward the successful candidate with a $10,000 grant.

 

How to apply
1. Complete the online application form before 4.30pm, 01 November 2022
2. Submit a personal statement outlining how you meet the criteria for the scholarship
3. Complete the financial assessment part of the application
4. Submit a current CV
5. Submit either a letter of recommendation or an academic reference
6. Submit a portfolio of art and/or design work
