An exciting opportunity exists for a reliable and efficient Office Administrator within our vibrant Wellington Architectural Practice.

As one of our two Office Administrators, the roles are seen as one of fundamental importance to the business. You will need to be highly agile and a quick learner with a high degree of accuracy.  

Our Office Administrators are responsible for all reception and general office administration including greeting and welcoming visitors, providing support to our Practice Leadership Group, travel and accommodation arrangements, word processing, information management, and preparing daily morning tea for our kaimahi. This role will also include providing support to our Accounts and People teams.  

This role is suitable for an agile and creative individual who can hit the ground running and has the ability to work independently as well as in a team. You will not be afraid of a challenge and you will have the ability to juggle multiple deadlines. 

To be successful in this role, you will:

  • have excellent written communication and interpersonal skills
  • be well-organised, proactive, methodical, and work well under pressure
  • have a high level of attention to detail, and accurate data entry skills
  • work as an integral part of the Business Services team, supporting and covering other members as required 
  • have a proactive, positive and flexible approach, and a willing attitude 
  • be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (including intermediate to advanced knowledge of Excel). Adobe Creative Suite skills and graphic design experience would be advantageous but are not essential to the role.
