Studio Pacific Architecture is announcing an important change within its board, with the departure of Independent Director Linda Meade and the appointment of Leopino (Leo) Foliaki as our new Independent Director.
Studio Pacific Architecture is marking a significant governance transition as we acknowledge the contributions of Linda Meade and welcome Leopino (Leo) Foliaki to our Board of Directors. Linda, who joined the board in 2019, has been an instrumental figure, guiding us through key stages of growth with her extensive expertise in corporate strategy, finance, and governance. Her impact on the practice, particularly in advancing our strategic direction and guiding our succession planning, will leave a lasting legacy.
As Linda steps down, we are excited to welcome Leo, who brings extensive experience in governance roles. His expertise and presence in Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland will support our focus on delivering innovative architectural solutions across Aotearoa.
Acknowledging Linda Meade’s Contributions
Linda joined the Studio Pacific board in 2019, bringing over 25 years of experience in corporate strategy, finance, and consulting. During her tenure, Linda’s strategic insights were invaluable in steering the practice through critical stages of growth and innovation. Her background in economics and leadership at Deloitte New Zealand enabled her to offer a unique perspective on sustainable growth and governance. Linda’s knowledge and commitment played a vital role in enhancing our business resilience and advancing Studio Pacific’s strategic direction.
Reflecting on Linda’s time with the firm, Board Chair Dr. Helen Anderson expressed her appreciation: “Linda has brought a wealth of experience and a fresh perspective that has been invaluable to the board. Welcoming Leo Foliaki
Studio Pacific is excited to welcome Leopino (Leo) Foliaki as a new Independent Director. Based in Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland, Leo is of Tongan descent and has more than 30 years’ commercial experience at one of the top four corporate consulting companies in Aotearoa. His extensive experience in governance roles, combined with his presence in Auckland, will be instrumental in shaping Studio Pacific’s future direction, as we continue to focus on creating architecture that meets both present and future needs.
Leo’s appointment reflects our ongoing commitment to governance excellence, reinforcing our goal of fostering innovative design with a focus on sustainability and community impact. His presence will help bridge stronger relationships across Aotearoa, providing new opportunities for growth and collaboration.
