We are pleased to announce that the project team behind BNZ Place Wellington has been shortlisted as a finalist in the Barnes Beagley Doherr Best Team Award category at the upcoming Wellington Property People Awards 2024.
The Property People Awards are an annual awards programme hosted by Property Council New Zealand and delivered across the country in Auckland, Central, Wellington and the South Island regions. Contrary to the Property Industry Awards, which recognise exemplary projects, the Property People Awards celebrate the outstanding individuals and project teams behind projects throughout Aotearoa.
Being shortlisted as a finalist acknowledges the collaborative efforts of the entire BNZ Place project team, including Bank of New Zealand, Egmont Dixon Limited, Studio Pacific Architecture, and Newcrest, who together successfully delivered the project.
The Barnes Beagley Doherr Best Team Award honours teams that have gone above and beyond to overcome challenges, work collaboratively, and achieve outstanding results that benefit not only their own organisation but the broader property industry. In line with these criteria, our project team’s dedication over the past five years exemplifies a strong commitment to collaboration, innovative design, and sustainable outcomes, all while ensuring the project’s financial viability.
Located at 1 Whitmore Street in Wellington, BNZ Place is a testament to practical and purposeful workplace design. Occupying 17,000m2 across 12 floors, the interior design strategy is a balanced combination of sustainability, wellbeing, and functionality.
Built around a design narrative of navigation, landform and seascape, key groupings of spaces, materials and circulation pathways lead you through the fitout and up through the floors to the sky.
We are incredibly proud of the hard work, collaboration, and dedication from all involved. We extend our congratulations to all the other nominees and finalists for this year’s awards.
The Wellington Property People Awards 2024 will take place later this year, celebrating the outstanding achievements within the region’s property sector.
