We are pleased to announce that Manaia Haimes has been awarded the Studio Pacific Architecture and Design Scholarship for 2025. This scholarship is part of our ongoing commitment to fostering the next generation of architects and designers in Aotearoa.
Each year, the Studio Pacific scholarship supports a talented student who demonstrates a passion for architecture, design, and the ability to contribute to the future of the built environment. While we look forward to sharing more about Manaia and her aspirations in the coming months, we are excited to welcome her into the Studio Pacific whānau.

About the Scholarship
Established in 2022 to support students studying architecture and design in New Zealand, the Studio Pacific Architecture and Design Scholarship provides financial assistance and mentorship opportunities. The scholarship is designed to encourage innovation, sustainability, and cultural responsiveness in architectural practice.
Past recipients have gone on to make meaningful contributions to the field, using their skills to create spaces that reflect the unique identity of Aotearoa and its communities.
Applications for the 2026 Studio Pacific Architecture and Design Scholarship will open later this year.
