Congratulations to Marc Woodbury who is celebrating 25 years with Studio Pacific this month.
This month, we celebrate Marc Woodbury’s remarkable 25-year tenure with Studio Pacific. Over the past quarter-century, Marc has been an integral part of our team, known for his exceptional design skills, leadership, and dedication to architectural excellence.
Marc joined Studio Pacific in 1999, became a Senior Principal in 2016, and has been a registered architect in New Zealand for over 25 years. He also leads our Commercial Architecture team.
From initial concepts to construction, Marc’s touch has set a high standard for quality and innovation on a number of our projects. His keen eye for design and meticulous attention to detail have contributed to numerous award-winning projects such as the seismically-advanced 20 Customhouse Quay office building, the refurbishment and redesign of Brandon House, and community buildings like All Saints Centre, Aratoi Museum, and St Joseph’s Church.
Marc’s passion for sustainable architecture and mass-timber construction has driven him to integrate environmentally positive practices into our projects. Notably, Marc led the design of New Zealand’s first NZGBC five-star Green Star office building.
Beyond his architectural prowess, Marc has been a mentor and leader within our practice, fostering a culture of creativity and collaboration. His ability to inspire and support colleagues has been crucial in developing the next generation of architects and designers at Studio Pacific, and his role as an NZRAB assessor is a natural extension of these skills. Marc is also currently tutoring 4th year architecture students at Te Herenga Waka—Victoria University of Wellington.
As we celebrate this significant milestone, we recognise Marc’s immense contributions and the lasting impact he has made on our studio and the architectural community.
Congratulations, Marc, on 25 years of excellence and inspiration. Here’s to many more years of success and collaboration!
