Having worked at leading architecture practices in Berlin and Munich, Philip’s professional experience includes residential, commercial, and significant cultural building projects, as well as design competitions throughout Europe. These projects, often focused on architectural responses to sensitive historic contexts, ranged in scale and complexity.
Philip is passionate about the social potential of architecture and the careful study of context. He has a strong appreciation for the role architecture can play as a means of exploring ideas and as a medium for research. Valuing collaboration between practice and academia, Philip has experience in architectural education, including teaching Urban Design Theory and Practice at Victoria University.
